Course Overview
This one-day course provides participants with an in-depth review of the Socket Shield (SS) technique. It is specifically designed to teach the GUIDED SS technique, incorporating computer planning and guided surgery. The biological rationale for the SS technique, along with supporting literature and published results from the instructors, will be thoroughly reviewed and discussed. The course will feature a step-by-step demonstration of the digital technique, including the proper utilization of a specially designed kit and burs.
The hands-on component is a crucial part of this course, where participants will use models and surgical guides for the placement of immediate implants. Additionally, they will gain practical experience using specifically designed burs to carve socket shields precisely as planned digitally. This hands-on training ensures that participants will become proficient and confident in performing the digital guided socket shield technique after completing the course.
