Course Overview

This comprehensive course continuum, “Mastering Digital Implant Planning,” is designed to provide dental clinicians with evidence-based knowledge and practical skills derived from over 15 years of experience in digital planning and guided surgery. It comprises two separate courses: “Digital Planning for Straightforward Implants” and “Digital Planning for Complex Cases, including the Treatment of the Terminal Dentition”. Each course consists of two sessions, totaling three days of intensive learning, with each session spanning 1.5 days over a weekend.

The first session of each course includes detailed lectures and hands-on exercises, while the second session provides a unique opportunity for participants to perform live patient surgeries under supervision. The curriculum emphasizes in-depth use of DTX implant planning software to facilitate precise implant therapy. Participants will master guided surgery and the 3D printing of surgical guides, learn to diagnose and implement treatment plans for various implant cases, and gain hands-on experience with both models and virtual surgeries.

Course Goal

The overarching goal of this course continuum is to equip dental practitioners with the advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary to master digital implant planning and guided surgery, enabling predictable and successful implant therapy in straightforward cases. In addition, we will also simplify the process of in-house 3D printing of surgical guides, making it practical and accessible for everyday clinical use.
